Why Are Sexy Female Teachers Having Sex With Male Students?
As I gear up to release the lowly anticipated sequel to The Fetish Dictionary (you can read an excerpt here), I’m reminded of a story that, unfortunately, didn’t make the cut. For legal reasons, I decided to omit the story I planned to write on teacher-student sexual relations. Though I suck so hard at actually selling books I could probably conceal the plot to neutralize prominent government officials in one of these things and never be found out, I also have shit luck, so it seemed like the smart bet. Digressing …
I have long been fascinated by scandals involving teenage male students and female teachers, who usually run the gamut of decent looking to hot AF. After all, it’s an ongoing trend here in America ⸺ or is it?
My wife and I go back and forth over the topic of humanity’s stupidity. She thinks people grow more stupid by the day. I say it’s a case of social media and the 24/7 news cycle simply providing the sort of coverage that would make it appear that we’ve become stupider.
While increased exposure could be a factor, I believe these sort of scandals are in fact on the rise. For one, female teachers are increasingly younger and more attractive than what was the norm in past times. I can’t recall one teacher I would’ve considered giving “the business” through high school. Well, there was that one substitute teacher in middle school, and rumor has it, she was screwing around with a 15-year old dude in my class. Madness! Point is, I’m sure it isn’t entirely new. I just think it’s happening more often.
Having already said a mouthful, let’s break this thing down and examine why an attractive woman in the trusted role of educator would essentially risk it all for a slice of under-aged penis.
Childhood Trauma
This one is fairly straightforward, yet something I didn’t give much thought until pulling my data together. According to research, those victimized by sexual abuse as children tend to develop sexual behavior problems and are more likely to be sexually promiscuous as adults. Other studies estimated that 30 percent of sexual offenders experienced abuse themselves as children. Sadly, this heart-breaking cycle of abuse may be at the very root of some of the teacher sex scandals taking place in schools across the country.
Control Freaks at Play
Outside of whatever physical gratification they’re able to glean from the experience, it can be argued that sexual predators get their biggest jollies off on control. This sort of dominance is theoretically easier to obtain when there is a considerable gap in age.
Although I’m not necessarily comfortable tagging a teacher who hooks up with a high school student a sexual predator, because well … it’s a slippery slope and I’m a firm believer in personal accountability, I can definitely see control being a factor. Even sexually active teens are severely lacking in experience compared to seasoned adults. A teacher may feel as if she can control and sort of groom a student in ways that aren’t easily achieved when dealing with someone her own age. (in my Rick James voice) Power is a helluva drug!
Ego, Competition and Redemption
Outside of mandatory classes, homework, and having to devote so much time to thrashing haters, school wasn’t all that bad. High school, especially, was its own little world. Complete with its own culture and community. Many adults are still children at heart — 25 going on 16, as your mama might say. For a younger teacher who wasn’t very popular in her era, or currently has a 16-year old mentality, the high school campus can serve as her own virtual playground. An opportunity to finally sit at the head of the class as the sexy girl with a seasoned milkshake that brings all the boys to the yard.
Natural Attraction
I’m personally not attracted to younger women. It’s just hard for me to get over the fact that people generally don’t adopt pristine hygiene practices until well into adulthood. Nothing kills the mood quite like a funky batch of ass. With that said, I understand the nature of primal instincts, and how it is not uncommon for men and women alike to be attracted to people who are by law, underage. Let’s be real here … high school students are at the ripe age where they’re starting to fill out and embrace their sexuality. So while these feelings are natural, there’s a big difference between developing curiosities, fantasies, even, and crossing a line you can’t return from.
In Closing
Clearly, I’m no expert on childhood trauma or any of the aforementioned areas. These are conclusions I’ve drawn from my own research and personal observations. Whatever the underlying causes may be, any high school sex scandal underscores a major issue with the potential to cause untold damage to all parties involved. It’s easy to go into double-standards mode, where we tilt the cap to a ninth grade boy for bagging a cougar, but consent and complicity doesn’t necessarily constitute a victimless crime. Wrong is wrong, and while it takes two to do the tango, this shit is wrong!
