Road Trip Microdosed Blend Mushroom Gummies Review by Mega Man
Your favorite Medium mushroom guy is back with another legal mushroom gummies review. This time we’re talking Road Trip Microdosed Blend Mushroom Gummies, a very interesting product to say the least. Before we get started with the review, it makes sense to home in on the crux of the matter.
What is Microdosing?
Full disclosure: I typically subscribe to the megadosing methodology. Like, why fuck around? That’s exactly what came to mind when I heard of this new trend called microdosing. According to the interwebs, microdosing is built on the premise of taking smaller dosages of psychoactive drugs, usually psychedelics, to unlock their medicinal benefits on a smaller, more functional scale. Associated with benefits such as enhanced mood, creativity, concentration, productivity, and empathy, it has become increasingly popular among those dealing with various clinically diagnosed issues.
I can’t lie, I’ve heard good things about microdosing. People speak very highly of it. But being this go big (enough) or go home kinda guy, I sort of dismissed it. I mean, I’m not suffering from depression or any other ailment that requirements medical treatment … not to my knowledge, at least. Just feels like a waste in the sense that this microdose is taking away from a bigger, more fulfilling dose. However, things would inevitably turn and flip my perception on its head.
During his recent visit, my Cousin, Drew, said that the internet has made us all ADD. Tongue in cheek, to a degree, but I agree wholeheartedly. For years, I’ve had this maddening habit of feeling as if I have to multi-task on anabolic steroid levels. I’m writing a book in one window, researching side hustles in this window, looking at butt’s in that window … it’s crazy, but I like to consider it controlled chaos.
Years pass, and life starts lifeing … real hard. I lost some key members of my clan. For me, a major side effect of these repeated losses was a complete loss of focus. In the past, I could easily honker down, scale back on the window watching, and zone in on a single task when necessary. The new me could barely go two minutes without drifting from one thing to another.
I’m a slow reader by most standards, but I do like to read. I mean, I have dozens of books I’ve purchased from various independent authors loaded up on my phone. Having fallen into this nasty funk, I went from reading about five to six books a year, to failing to finish a single book in the past two years. It’s bonkers, man.
These concentration issues reached a point where I saw notable dips in productivity. And in my world, productivity is directly tied to money. I even considered trying to score a prescription for one of those ADHD medications. Mr. No Pharm Guy. We’re talking uncharted territory here.
Since then, I’ve been hyper-focused on getting my concentration issues under wraps. Coffee. Kratom. Sativa gummies. It all helped to some degree, but not enough to get me back to normal … my definition of normal. Long story short, the thought of microdosing grew more appealing as I continually embarked on this legal mushroom gummies expedition.
Making Sense of Microdose-Friendly Mushroom Gummies
Now let’s talk about Road Trip Microdosed Blend Mushroom Gummies. What I like about this product is that we get some full transparency for a change. According to Erth Wellness, the blend consists of Lions Mane, Reishi, and Cordyceps, three varieties of fungi reputed for their cognitive enhancement, immune strengthening, and energy boosting abilities.
The one ingredient that piqued my interest is Desert Stardust, the Road Trip product that rightfully draws direct comparisons to magic mushrooms. Apparently it’s included in a smaller than average dose, but it’s there.
So I map out a semblance of a plan and start out with a single gummy. For some reason, these taste worse than the previous gummies I’ve tried. Maybe it’s the mix of different mushrooms clashing against my taste buds.
In short order, I start to feel something … something familiar. Desert Stardust makes the most sense, but it was very reminiscent of the Shaka Sweets Magic Mushroom + THC Gummies, which if you’ll recall from a previous review, did have a functional edge. What I felt was the euphoric side. More subtle than the full-on mushroom gummy experience, but it’s there. I spent the few hours of activity working on my next novel. While perhaps a tad more locked in, I did fall victim to my usual bout of internet window flopping.
The thing about microdosing is that it’s not just a one-time deal. Ideally, it’s something you integrate into a consistent regime in order to unlock the true benefits. So the next day, I’m back at it. This time, with two gummies. The euphoric feel goods make their presence known once again. Nice, but not distracting enough to halt my most productive novel writing venture in quite some time.
I skip a day, then revisit my trial regimen with another single gummy. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by that mild euphoria from the first go, more evidence to support my “I’m resistant to tolerance” theory😁 This particular evening was peak multi-tasking on steroids, but I actually got quite a bit done, mostly splitting time between my custom T-shirt shop and Victoria’s sequel. Okay, the butt sites got some love, too, but I feel like I distributed my focus in efficient fashion. Don’t judge me, damnit!
The Verdict
I could’ve kept the trial rolling, but decided to stop there. The conclusion: inconclusive. I can’t help thinking about this article I read, where the author suggested that microdosing proponents could be basing their successes on wanting something to happen, then manifesting it in the form of very personalized results … a sort of placebo effect, if you will.
Personally, I also have to consider the fact that I didn’t engage in what I’m sure many would deem a comprehensive microdosing routine. That said, I’m very impressed with the product overall. Maybe I’ll rev up my half-ass regimen next week, or crank it up a notch by tapping into all that glorious euphoria just waiting to be unleashed at higher doses. Which reminds me … you get 20 gummies per pack! Definitely love that!!
There’s actually a similar product from a different brand that I’ve been eyeing. Hopefully I can try and review it in the near future. In the meantime, I invite you to take the Road Trip Microdosed Blend Mushroom Gummies for a spin. All my shopping and customer service experiences with Erth Wellness have been nothing short of exceptional thus far. I have no doubt that they will take care of ya✌️
